The Investigations Bureau operates under the direction of the Deputy Chief of Investigations and comprises the Detective Division, Property Evidence Unit, Background Unit, Fraud Unit and the Office of Professional Standards and Internal Affairs Division. Investigations is responsible for investigating all crimes and serious accidents that occur on NJ TRANSIT's transportation network and property which includes buses, commuter rail lines, light rail systems and bus and rail facilities around the state. |
