Captain of Administration
Captain D’Aloia is the Captain of the Administration Section. His responsibilities include overseeing Training, Information Technology, Communications, Staffing & Recruitment, Police Finance, and Capital Projects.
Captain D’Aloia joined the New Jersey Transit Police Department as a Police Officer in 2011. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2015 and Lieutenant in 2021. During that time, Captain D’Aloia served in the capacity of Officer, Supervisor, and Tour Commander respectively in Patrol Districts 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7. Captain D’Aloia has also served as a Supervisor in the Central Communications Center.
In 2025, Captain D’Aloia was promoted to Captain and assigned to the Administration Section overseeing Training, Information Technology, Communications, Staffing & Recruitment, Police Finance, and Capital Projects.
Captain D’Aloia is a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, Providence College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Finance, and Seton Hall University with a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Training and Development. Captain D’Aloia is also a graduate of the Mercer County Police Academy where he earned the Academic Excellence Award.
Captain D’Aloia is the recipient of the Lifesaving Award, Unit Citation Award, and the Mothers Against Drunk Driving Award for outstanding DWI enforcement.
When not serving for the New Jersey Transit Police Department, Captain D’Aloia enjoys running, playing golf, tennis, soccer, lacrosse, coaching youth sports, and spending time with his wife and three children.
